Conference champion Wonder Boys to host No. 7-seed Ouachita Baptist in Opening Round Series of 2024 GAC Tournament

RUSSELLVILLE — Finishing with a share of the 2024 Great American Conference Regular Season Championship, the Arkansas Tech baseball team is the No. 2-seed in the upcoming GAC Tournament and will host No. 7-seed Ouachita Baptist in the opening round series this coming weekend.
The best-of-three series between Tech and Ouachita is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. from Baswell Field on Friday, May 3. Game two of the series is then slated to be played the following day starting at 1 p.m. Should a third game of the series be needed, it will be played about 30 minutes following the conclusion of the preceding game.

There will be no charged admission to any of the games at Baswell Field, so local support of the Wonder Boys baseball team is greatly appreciated.
The winner of the best-of-three opening round series will advance to the final site the GAC Tournament, which will be at Dickey-Stephens Ballpark in North Little Rock. Three other series winners will join in NLR and partake in a four-team double-elimination tournament that will run from Thursday, May 9 - Saturday, May 11.
