The Jasper City Council will conduct its regular meeting on Thursday, May 22, at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
Items on the agenda include citizen commentary from Toinette Madison of the Newton County Jasper Chamber of Commerce and Bubba Lloyd, JAPC chairman.
The mayor will update the council on several projects and a USDA grant.
New business include a federal audit proposal and the JAPC allowance for summer camp.
The council will also receive the monthly financial report and police and fire departments' reports.
