Omaha boy killed in motorcycle wreck

RIDGEDALE, Mo. — Late Friday afternoon a young man was killed in a motorcycle wreck two miles north of Ridgedale, Missouri.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck that claimed the life of an 18-year old man with an Omaha address. The Missouri State Troop D has not released the name of the victim or those involved in the three-vehicle wreck.
A 2024 Mazda CX30 was traveling westbound on Estate Drive driven by a Harrison woman when she tried to stop for another car.
The motorcycle was following the Mazda and struck the car. The rider of the motorcycle was then struck by a 2020 Jeep Cherokee that was driving east.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics on the scene.
Damage to the motorcycle was listed as totaled while the Cherokee had moderate damages and the Mazda had minor damage.
The fatality was the 51st this year in Troop D. Troop D is located in the southwest corner of Missouri and consists of 18 counties. The headquarters for the Troop is in Springfield, Mo.
