Posted

The Natural State Council is proud to announce a new event in 2025. “Scouting Day at the Capitol,”
to be held on Wednesday, March 12, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., at the Arkansas State Capitol.
All Scouts in the State of Arkansas are invited to Little Rock for a day of civic education and engagement with our 95th General Assembly!
Event registration is FREE using the registration link below!
A missed School Explanation note will be available from Natural State Council for all youth who may miss school to participate in this educational-enrichment activity.

Legislative Sessions
Scouts will be able to attend Committee Meetings in the morning, and floor meetings beginning at 1pm. This is a unique opportunity to engage with state government and officials, as both an educational and advancement opportunity. Since this is a school day, we’ll issue a letter to attending Scouts for an excused absence. Scouts will also receive a commemorative event patch!
Rotunda Showcase
We will showcase various facets of Scouting from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., including first aid skills, emergency preparedness, outdoorsmanship, conservation, life skills, service, salesmanship, exploring, alumni engagement, and our camp properties & programs. Report to the State.
