The Newton County Activity and Wellness Center invites you to join in gardening activities at the Jasper Community Garden. The senior center has acquired a raised bed and now needs help caring for the plants. Please contact Sophia or Nickie at the center for more information.
Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. A $4 donation is appreciated from clients. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60 per meal. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Thursday - Mushroom Swiss burger, tater tots and ice creams sundae.
Friday - Grilled chicken salad, potato salad, breadstick and white cake with chocolate icing.
Monday - Broccoli and cheese quiche, garden blend rice, herb roasted tomatoes, roll and fruit parfait.
Tuesday - Barbecued beef brisket, sweet potato wedge, baked beans, cornbread and oatmeal cookie.
Wednesday - Italian beef sandwich, mixed waffle fries, sautéed peppers and onions and rocky road pudding.
