FAYETTEVILLE — The second day of the NFL Draft saw two Razorbacks come off the board including a surprise first one.
All the speculation had been edge Landon Jackson would be the first Razorback drafted. Instead it was wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa taken by the Detroit Lions with the No. 6 pick of Round 3, No. 70-overall pick. Jackson, 6-7, 291, went two picks later to the Buffalo Bills.
TeSlaa, 6-4, 218, who is from Hudsonville, Mich., grew up a Detroit Lions fan. In 2024, TeSlaa caught 28 passes for 546 yards and three touchdowns. He transferred to Arkansas from Hillsdale (Mich.) College in 2023. At Arkansas in 2023, TeSlaa caught 34 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns.
Jackson had 49 tackles, including 28 solo, 6.5 sacks, three pass deflections, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 2024. He transferred to Arkansas from LSU prior to the 2022 season. In his two seasons prior to 2024, Jackson had 67 tackles, 31 solo, 17 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, a forced fumble, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups.
