This week my bookclub meets to discuss the book, “The Day the World Came to Town”, 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland, by Jim DeFede. I am still reading it but am finding it to be very interesting. My friend, Jim Geddie and his wife, Roxie, were employed by the airlines. Jim grew up in Canada and has been to Gander many times.
