The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will be serving a brisket dinner on Friday, June 20 from 5-6 p.m. at the center.
Reserve a spot for $12 . The price at the door is $15. Proceeds from the dinner will go towards the payment of the center's new van.
The center serves lunch Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Those who are 60 and over can dine in at the center for a $4 donation. Under 60, dine for $8.60. Cary out meals for everyone is $8.60. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Thursday - Chicken club sandwich, onion rings, seed vegetable sticks and chocolate bar.
Friday - Beef with roasted vegetables, rissole potatoes, dinner roll and apricot parfait.
Monday - Baked Ziti, spinach salad, garlic bread and fruit salad.
Tuesday - Ham steak, cream cheese corn, Brussel sprouts medley, dinner roll and chocolate tango pudding.
Wednesday - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli, roll and Mandarin oranges.
