Herbert Terry, 95, of Harrison, was fatally injured in a motor vehicle crash in Harrison Wednesday, June 25. It happened at 10:54 a.m. at 323 West Central Avenue, according to Arkansas State Police.
Terry was the operator of a 2008 Dodge vehicle traveling northbound on state Highway 7 South onto South Pine Street. The vehicle turned right into the parking lot of 323 West Central Avenue and apparently accelerated into a parked Chevrolet. It was pushed into an International Harvester vehicle which was then pushed into a parked Dodge vehicle. The three parked vehicles were unoccupied, according to the report filed by Patrolman Shawn McBee of the Harrison Police Department.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time, the report notes.
