"There has perhaps never been a more pivotal moment in history related to manhood and our creation in the image of God. Fatherhood has been abandoned. Husbandship has been demeaned and elderly men rejected. Against this backdrop, the Lord is summoning generations of men to rise up into their God-appointed call as friends, fathers, husbands, resource seniors, and in every aspect of their appointment to stand forth in Christlikeness.
Most young men that are brought to church by their fathers will continue for the rest of their lives in church life. How important for the dads to pass their zeal for the Kingdom of Heaven on to their sons!
"In a culture that has lost its desire to bring honor for the aged, we yearn to rise up before the gray-haired and to recognize the years that have poured wisdom and understanding into the men that have gone before us.
"Whether it be vision for a man's job, marriage, children, Pastor, parents, or church, all of these aspects of the Kingdom of God are brought vividly to light during this pivotal gathering. It would be my hope that men would rise up for Christ and His church," said Freed.
