Pioneers stand tall over Shorter

HARRISON — It was a good night for the Pioneers of North Arkansas College.
Facing Shorter College, the Pioneers rolled to a large Region II win. The squad defeated the Bulldogs, 102-69.
Freshman guard James Parlow had a streak of 10 straight points late in the first half. He ended the half with 26 points. He hit five 3-pointers, five shots inside the arc and one free throw to account for the total.
The Pioneers led, 48-27, at intermission.

In the second half, the Pioneers had 10 players score with five other scoring more than six points.
Mat Jones led team with 10 points in the final half. Parlow had nine with Clint Fowler and Trey Pulford scoring seven points each.
Nothark finished the game hitting nine 3-pointers. The team was 17-of-23 from the free throw line.
Parlow ended the game with 35 points. Jones added 16, Jordyn Turner 10, Fowler nine, Kelsey Tarver eight, Pulford seven, Carson Tangness six, I’Ryan Allen five, Javon Clamese four and Beck Morrow two.
